Thanksgiving Reimagined for 2020
Thanksgiving 2020 isn’t going to be what anyone wanted or hoped for. With Covid cases increasing and travel restrictions tightening, most of us will be home with only our immediate families to celebrate with. We normally spend the holidays with our extended family and this is something I look forward to all year. I’m really sad that won’t be happening this year.
If you’re planning to cook something special while you’re at home, I’d love to know what you’re making. Will you go the traditional route? Will you make something totally unexpected? Something new? Something tried and tested?
If you want a special meal, but don’t want to cook, here are local restaurants you can order from:
Denizens Brewing Company - pick up your dinner, beer, and hard seltzer all in one place
Pops Sea Bar - for those who prefer lobster to turkey
2fifty - If you’d rather assorted BBQ meats this is the place for you
Sticky Fingers - a vegan option
Baker’s Daughter - has add-on options for leftovers and breakfast
Thanksgiving by Chef Michael Schlow - the James Beard Award Winner Option
Even if you’re not having the holiday you hoped for, don’t forget to take a moment to give thanks!
